If you like B-list stars of the 1930s, as I do, then you will enjoy this movie. Fine performances from Betty Compson, Sidney Blackmer, and Russell Hopton - professionals every one. And the special treat of Miss Irene Ware. I had been hoping to find a film where she got lots of screen time and a chance to be herself and this is it. She was simply wonderful but apparently the big studios could not see that.

Won't Kill You
This is a fairly entertaining lightweight farce, with good performances from most players. It doesn't come with any huge surprises but all in all is pretty satisfying. Note how qualified my statements are. You're not going to be raving about this to all your pals, but when it is done you will at least be able to say,"That was nice." The ingenue is cute and peppy, scenes and settings are pleasant, and everything works out about the way you'd like.
